Experiment
This is all about being CREATIVE with your work and making sure you have fully explored your ideas.
Don't just stick with your first idea, look at what your artist research has taught you...what do your artists do to be unique?
Range of Techniques
A range of techniques isn't just one photograph. It means: Portraits, landscapes, illustrations, macro, black and white, different editing styles, inside, outside etc...
Fully explore as many different styles as you can to try and demonstrate your idea
Find different styles by doing artist research.
Select and Improve
Selecting and Improving is all about deciding which of your images is best and displaying them on the following page in your sketchbook.
Talk about how you edited your work and what it is you were trying to do.
Remember, you are looking for photographs that are:
In Focus
Exposed correctly (Not too bright, not too dark)
Show meaning and emotion
Notice the completely different styles within these 8 photographs.
These have all been selected and improved from that 'first' photoshoot the artists went on.
None of these happened by 'accident'. They were all planned and improved upon throughout their own projects
